Applications are invited for the position of a JRF for DST-SERB sponsored project entitled “Investigation into the role of bacterial two-component signaling systems in the development of resistance to polymyxins, the last resort antibiotics”.

Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioscience/ Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and NET/GATE or equivalent examination qualified as per DST- SERB guidelines (No. SB/S9/Z-06/2019, Dated. 23.04.2019).

Age Limit: 28 years (Maximum); Relaxation in the upper age limit/educational qualifications is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per DST-SERB, Government of India rules.

Project tenure: Two years (2020-2022)

Fellowship: 31,000/- pm + HRA admissible as per DST-SERB rules.

Note: The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned project.
